Our Business

AccuLook Home Inspections was founded in 2007 by Michael and Joyce Orwig.  After owning several new construction and pre-existing homes we experienced many problems that are related to purchasing and owning a home.  After 23 years of home ownership, we decided to share our knowledge with others by providing a professional, friendly service that reveals invaluable facts about the condition and safety of their property. This information can enable our customers to make an educated decision to get the best possible value for their money.

Who We Are

Michael Paul Orwig is the owner, home inspector and radon mitigator. He is an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB), a graduate of Inspectors Training Association (ITA) and Center for Basic and Applied Science (CBAS), a Licensed Maryland Home Inspector, a Certified Radon Measurement Specialist and a Radon Remediation Specialist.  We provide Residential Home Inspections, Radon Testing, Radon Mitigation Systems, Indoor Air Quality and Mold Sampling.

Joyce Orwig is the co-owner, accountant and schedule planner. She is a graduate of UMBC with a bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.  She has worked as a Biochemist, licensed Realtor and a sales associate.
